LEADERSHIP IN MENTAL HEALTH

Course content : Level 1
The course encompasses a range of themes relevant to global mental health and leadership, below are examples of what to expect:
Theme 1: Task-sharing and integrating mental health with communicable and non communicable diseases
Theme 2: Developing community-based participatory interventions
Theme 3: Health systems’ strengthening and transitioning from evidence to policy and practice in low resource settings
Theme 4: Understanding social determinants of mental health
Theme 5: Digital solutions in mental health care
Theme 6: The critiques and future of global mental health
Course content : Level 2
• Essentials of developing complex interventions
• Theories, models and frameworks to develop interventions
• Process of implementation of complex interventions
• Evaluating the impact of interventions
• Process of scaling up
• Evaluation of mental health care plans
This will be a hands-on interactive experience wherein participants get an opportunity to develop an intervention in a topic area they are interested in with the help of course tutors and peers.
